Founder & Principal Advisor
Suzette founded Alonso Global Advisors (formerly SMA Professional Services) as a boutique tax strategy and advisory practice for individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses with domestic and international needs.
She brings more than 30 years of financial leadership to clients facing complex domestic and international decisions. She began in Big Four audit, became Controller of a publicly traded company, and later served as CFO and Group CFO before building her own practice.
For two decades, she has overseen accounting, tax, treasury and administration for operations in Latin America, coordinating directly with local legal and tax advisors. Her work combines technical rigor with the judgment of someone who has operated businesses and carried the consequences of the decisions.
Today, she helps founders, investors and families protect wealth, scale businesses and structure ownership across the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
